What a strange end of year it has been. A roller coaster ride of sorts, and I feel as though I've fallen off the blogosphere! The good was attending a wedding and celebrating my husband's 40 in NOLA, my nephews recent graduation from high school, and having two great weeks of art camp. On the other hand, the recent flooding has taken it's toll on the community I live in. Things are looking better, and there has been a wonderful response to help those in need.
These are pictures of some of the damage. And this is even after the waters had receded some. 
Please pray for the communities of San Marcos, Wimberley and the surrounding area. People are still putting their lives back together. And they are still searching for two young children. And special prayers of the father that survived, but lost his wife and two young children. My heart breaks for him.
